Nolan loved building tall, soaring rockets. Today, a super-duper space rocket waited. Jake, his best friend, helped him lay out the pieces.

They checked the instructions, step by step. Almost done! Nolan held the rocket base. Then he looked at the picture.

"Wait," Nolan said, his brow furrowed. "One special brick is missing." It was the pointy orange top, the last piece. Nolan looked at the unfinished rocket.

Jake knelt down. He started sorting through a big pile of blue and green bricks. Nolan peered under his bed. Dusty toy cars hid there.

"No rocket top here," Nolan mumbled. Jake pulled out a fuzzy sock. He tossed it aside and kept searching. The pile of scattered bricks grew bigger.

Nolan stood up. He walked to his desk. He gently moved a stack of colorful books. No orange top. Just his favorite crayon box.

Jake looked at the rocket blueprint again. His eyes followed a line to a corner of the room. A large, lidded bin sat there. "Maybe here?" Jake asked.

Nolan’s eyes lit up. He walked to the big bin. He slowly lifted its heavy lid. Inside, all the LEGOs were mixed up.

Nolan reached deep down into the pile. He felt around. His fingers touched something smooth and pointy. He pulled it out! It was the bright orange rocket top!

Nolan carefully snapped the last piece into place. The rocket was finally complete! It stood tall and proud. "Blast off!" Nolan cheered, lifting their amazing rocket high.
