Tom the bear opened his shop. His barber chair was clean and shiny. He hummed a happy little tune. It was a brand new day.

A customer walked in. It was Foxy! Foxy's red hair was very, very long. It tumbled down Foxy's back.

Tom looked at Foxy's long hair. Foxy sat in the big barber chair. "Time for a trim," Tom said softly. He picked up his comb and scissors.

Snip, snip, went Tom's scissors. Tom worked very carefully. Red hair fell to the floor. Foxy smiled, feeling lighter.

Soon, Foxy’s hair was neat. Another customer came in. It was Bunny, with wild white hair! Bunny's hair was even longer.

Tom looked at Bunny’s hair. It was quite a job! Snip, snip, went Tom's scissors again. White hair piled high on the floor.

Bunny’s hair became tidy. Then, Squirrelly hopped inside. Squirrelly's brown hair touched the floor! Tom let out a tiny sigh.

Tom worked on Squirrelly’s hair. Snip, snip, snip, went the scissors. Brown hair joined the other piles. The shop was very busy!

All the long hair was gone. Foxy, Bunny, and Squirrelly smiled. "Thank you, Tom!" they all said. They skipped out of the shop.

Tom swept up all the hair. His shop was clean once more. He smiled a big, proud smile. What a good day at work!
