Meet Little Sammy! He’s fuzzy and brown, He lives in a tree, far away from the town. His nest is a castle, his home in the sky, Where the sunbeams are bright and the breezes blow by.

One wing FLAPS and one wing FLOPS, Sammy hops and then he stops! “Mama, Papa, look at me! I want to zoom above the tree!”

A whisper-wing, so soft and small, It wouldn't help him stand up tall. It couldn't catch the summer breeze, Or lift him up above the trees.

Oh, sticky feathers! Oh, wobbly wings! He’s missing out on sky-high things. A droopy beak and a tiny pout, Sammy feels quite left-on-out!

You have a heart so big and true, There’s no one else as brave as you! We’ll find a way, just wait and see, The bestest bird you’re meant to be.

Sammy puffs his feathers out, Without a worry or a doubt. His heart is big, his heart is strong, He hums a "never-give-up" song!
